Account Manager

Base £25,000 – OTE Year 1 £27,000 

Uncapped Commission

The Role

We are currently recruiting for 2 Account Managers to join our Software Escrow Division as well as support our business with our other 2 divisions, Cyber Security and File Analytics & Data Profiling software.

Our vision for the candidates is to begin their journey as an Account Manager, and progress into an Account Director depending on their success.

In return, the candidates will be heavily invested in to further develop their Sales and Technical career through our Learning and Development scheme, all funded by SES. Furthermore, they will be provided with the opportunity to increase their earning potential with an uncapped commission scheme.

Key Responsibilities

Given the nature of our business it typically takes 12 months for a Salesperson to really grasp the solutions we offer and who we offer them to. Therefore, for the first 12 months the chosen candidates will predominantly start off working very closely with the Sales Director in a new business hunter role and you will be responsible for Managing an existing account base as well as generating your own leads, closing out new business sales from start to finish and Managing the account going forward. Other responsibilities include:

  • Researching various markets and organisations to develop new opportunities.
  • Attending prospect meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate Customer Relationship Management records.
  • Manage and develop existing and new clients won to maximise both client satisfaction and revenue within defined time periods.
  • Achieving the sales target as set out by the business.

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role it is important that you have at least 2 years experience working in an Existing Account and New Business sales environment within either the Technology, Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery industries. You must also have a  consultative selling approach and a track record in achieving, or overachieving revenue targets, as well as being able to demonstrate how you would resolve potentially a missing a target.
