SES are proud to announce that we have renewed our Cyber Essentials certification, passing the assessment with flying colours.
Cyber Essentials delivers the basic controls that all organisations should look to implement to mitigate the risks posed by internet based threats and is a key deliverable of the UK’s National Cyber Security Programme.
The Cyber Essentials Scheme is backed by major industry players including BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Barclays and Hewlett-Packard.
The Information Commissioner has stated that he “supports the Cyber Essentials Scheme and encourages all businesses to be assessed against it”.
Upon receiving the renewed Cyber Essentials certification SES’s Managing Director: Will Sharp stated: “It was important for us to renew our Cyber Essentials certification as it demonstrates that we have taken the necessary precautions to protect our organisation and our customers data against the vast majority of cyber threats.”
“Even a single virus or piece of malware can result in loss of critical company and client data, so renewing this certificate shows our customers that we have taken the necessary precautions to protect their data.”
At SES we take the security of your data very seriously. By choosing Commissum – A Crest Accredited Certification Body – to carry out a vulnerability scan as part of our Cyber Essentials Accreditation process to provide an additional level of independent verification, we can provide you with the assurance that your data is completely secure.
