Problem
The traditional Software Escrow model was not suitable for MHR, as they required a fast and efficient method of accessing the external application should the vendor become unable to support the hosted service. With the majority of the data consisting of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and strict restrictions preventing any external partner from managing that data, it became evident that a unique and highly tailored solution was essential.
Solution
SES collaborated with MHR’s internal technical team and their storage partner, Iron Mountain, to deliver a bespoke and highly secure Escrow facility for the PII data. In addition, SES facilitated six‑monthly source code builds, deployed in a runtime environment with the data installed, to demonstrate successful deployment and ensure full operational readiness.
Outcome
Through the collaborative efforts of all three parties, the software vendor successfully overcame the challenges of delivering a viable and secure Escrow service to its SaaS customers worldwide. The solution now provides long‑term continuity and complete reassurance, ensuring that customers can rely on uninterrupted access, robust protection, and a dependable safety net should the unexpected occur.
