SES implemented a SaaS Individual Licensee Software Escrow Agreement and performed a Remote Code Validation and Deployment exercise to verify that the source code and rebuild process can be achieved successfully. SES then carried out a mock deployment exercise to ensure that the system could be deployed in an external environment and functioned correctly independently of the software vendor.
Ebbon-Dacs has a fit for purpose and robust Software Escrow Solution that provides them with the assurance that if the Software Escrow agreement was ever triggered, SES would be able to release to them the latest deposit of source code as well as all the materials required to get the system back up and running in a new independent environment.
